J. America Wholesale Blanks Announces Merger with Top of the World
J. America Wholesale Blanks, Fowlerville, Mich., and Neosho, Missouri-based headwear supplier Top of the World announced today that they have signed a merger agreement, creating a single company.
Jeff Fenech, co-founder of J. America, will lead the new company's wholesale blanks division, which will supply products under the J. America name to distributors and decorators.
"We couldn't be more excited about the merger," Fenech said in a press release. "It will allow us to offer even more innovative products and designs to the market."
Scott Shuler, president of Top of the World, will be in charge of the company's licensed apparel and headwear operations as president of the licensed division.
"This merger allows a single company to better leverage our brand, secure additional product offerings and deepen our supplier relationships," Shuler said.
The merger is scheduled to close by the end of this month. The combined business will have four distribution facilities in Michigan and Oklahoma, a sales office in North Carolina, a sourcing office in Hong Kong and a design center in Columbus, Ohio.
