Jimmy John's Is Giving Out Rolling Papers, Other Cannabis-Related Items for 4/20

As recreational cannabis becomes legal in more and more states across the U.S., not to mention on a federal level in Canada, there is an abundance of dispensaries and other related businesses looking for appropriate promotional products.

But, it also means that businesses that seemingly have nothing to do with recreational cannabis can start looking at cannabis-related promos to draw in customers.

Sandwich chain Jimmy John's is celebrating the biggest day on the cannabis calendar, 4/20, with a new sandwich item called the "Munchie Crusher," and is pairing the menu item with for some special branded items like rolling papers, matches, and other promotional products available at its Long Beach, CA, location.

A few years ago, this would have been huge news that such a mainstream company was appealing to this specific market and using these specific products. But take a stroll around any promotional products industry trade show these days, and you'll see items like grinders, lighters, storage containers, and much more. Cannabis is a legitimate business across the country now.

A lot of the "Reefer Madness" stigma is gone. So, that means that promotional products distributors can start to look at related items and cannabis businesses as business opportunities.

Plus, a lot of suppliers carry these kinds of products now, so it's not like you need to ask around on the down low and meet some shady character in an alley.
