Keyser Retail Solutions Introduces The Impulse Zone Mini Duo and Mini Trio To The QSR Market
Keyser Retail Solutions (KRS), Chicago, a leader in QSR signage and drive-thru technology, introduced the Impulse Zone Mini Duo and Mini Trio, two new affordable drive-thru signage products proven to increase incremental impulse purchases at the point of order.
The Mini Duo and Mini Trio are the latest additions to KRS's successful Impulse Zone Series product line that also includes the Impulse Zone Topper. All three products make use of KRS's Zone Strategy methodology that's been developed from the company's 45 years of experience and leadership in drive-thru innovations. Offered in a manual or motorized version, the Mini Duo and Mini Trio provide messaging flexibility—so that the operator can target the impulse offer based upon time of day. Utilizing state of the art L.E.D. lighting, the products provide optimal and energy efficient illumination for menu products.
"When it comes to getting the most from your drive-thru zone, a disciplined approach makes a big difference," said Judy Haselberger, president of KRS. "A Zone Strategy and Line of Sight Analysis will quickly identify high-value opportunities to optimize drive-thru merchandising, allowing a store operator to day-part effectively and deliver the right message at the right time in the right place to influence customers' decisions."
Industry statistics illustrate the untapped return on investing in signage aimed at influencing impulse purchases in drive-thru. According to research by King-Casey, 56 percent of consumers are influenced at the point of order. Yet, impulse driven merchandising at the drive-thru remains a missed opportunity for most QSR operators.
"The Impulse Zone Mini Duo and Mini Trio expose drive-thru customers to messaging at the right decision-point without slowing down the process or missing out on up-sell or impulse purchase opportunities," Haselberger added. "When Impulse Zone signage is well-executed and well-placed, we've found that a vast majority of customers will read it. And that's resulted in increased sales and profits."
KRS has been a pioneer in the QSR visual merchandising arena, providing its clients with solutions that deliver strategic, cohesive and impactful messaging within the QSR retail environment. Through its sister business Florida Plastics International, the company has served as exclusive provider of menu boards and related visual merchandising products to one of the largest fast-food companies in the U.S., and is responsible for developing many of today's industry standards and practices. KRS recently entered into a marketing agreement with digital signage leader Wireless Ronin Technologies to provide strategies and technology solutions to the QSR industry.
