Label Works Approved as UL Authorized Label Supplier

North Mankato, Minnesota-based Label Works, a Navitor Company, announced that they are now an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Authorized Label Supplier as of November 2010.

Eric Jungmann, general manager of Label Works, said, "We continue to find new unique ways to help our customers sell deeper into the label marketplace. This is just a new tool to help make their selling easier."

Jungmann stated that after receiving multiple requests from their customers for UL labels, his team learned more about the different uses of UL labels and then completed the necessary certification in order to print the UL Mark.

Although there are several label providers in the UL market, Label Works is taking a unique approach by providing educational and promotional materials to its channel partners to help them understand UL labels, how they are used and the ordering process.

Label Works, with its 24 hour production time on its FasTurn label line, already produces labels for the industrial and manufacturing sectors as well as food and beverage, advertising, health care and financial industries. As UL tests safety standards in several of these markets, the UL authorization for supplying labels was a natural extension of Label Works' business.
