Leed's Celebrates 10 Years in Pen Category, Adds New Low-Cost Options
New Kensington, Pennsylvania-based Leed’s, a member of Polyconcept North America (PCNA), the second largest hard goods supplier within the promotional products industry, marks its 10-year anniversary in the pen category by significantly growing its metal pen offerings for the 2011 product launch.
The category has been expanded primarily through metal pens under $2.00. In planning its metal pen line for 2011, the PCNA product development team identified the under $2.00 segment of the metal pens market as the key area where additional and fresh designs were needed.
Including the new pens added for 2011, Leed’s now offers more than 50 metal pens priced under $2.00, roughly 20 percent of which are styles exclusive to Leed’s. With the addition of so many choices at low price points, Leed’s line includes over 150 metal pens and pen sets from $1.48 to $39.98.
“We expect that our distributors will be eager to take advantage of the opportunities created with our new line of metal pens under $2.00,” explained Shannon Malaspina, senior category manager for Polyconcept North America. “We determined that our distributors’ greatest need for their pen projects was more--and more stylish--choices in metal pens within this highly affordable price range. Distributors will feel confident coming to Leed’s for their pen promotions, knowing that we have styles to suit every price point.”
Leed’s is a leading promotional products supplier and founding member of the Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), which promotes quality, safety, and integrity among suppliers in the industry.
