Mohawk Showcases New Specialty Substrates at DSCOOPX

Mohawk, Cohoes, N.Y., introduced new Mohawk Embedded Premium Polyester Cards optimized for HP Indigo printing at the DSCOOPX conference, held March 5 to 7 in Washington, D.C.

Mohawk Embedded Premium Polyester Cards feature a construction that is waterproof and tear-proof. The pure polyester pop-out cards are available in two calipers—7 mil and 10 mil, which are printable on both sides. They are optimized for HP Indigo printing, resulting in more applications for Indigo users.

Two layouts are available in 1-up, 2-wide and 2-up, 2-wide. The carrier sheet is Mohawk Everyday Digital Uncoated Smooth with i-Tone 80 text and 100 text.

Applications include membership, loyalty, insurance, discount and ID cards for use in industries, such as education, retail, financial, insurance, medical, and a variety of other industries.
