Newton Manufacturing Promotes Robin Hand to Vice President of Sales

Newton Manufacturing Company recently announced that Robin Hand has been promoted to vice president of sales. Hand has been with the company since 2008, most recently as the senior sales manager, eastern region. He has worked in the promotional products industry for over 25 years as both a supplier and distributor. This promotion comes during Hand's second stint with the company, having worked for Newton from 1986 to 1996.

"We are excited about Robin's new role," said Mancil Laidig, Newton Manufacturing's president. "With his extensive industry experience and rapport with our sales representatives, we are confident in Robin's ability to lead our sales efforts."

In his new role, Hand will oversee Newton's sales and business relations operations. The promotion comes in response to the departure of Jay Donlin as the company's executive vice president of sales and marketing. Senior marketing manager Molly Beavers will continue to oversee the company's marketing department.

Hand will begin transitioning from his Atlanta, Ga., home office to the company's headquarters in Newton, Iowa.
