Newton Manufacturing's Donlin Voted IMA Recognition Council President

Newton, Iowa-based Newton Manufacturing is excited to announce that Jay Donlin, executive vice president of sales and marketing, has been named president of the Recognition Council of the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA). Donlin, who had previously served as the council's vice president, was voted to the new position by fellow council members.

"I'm excited and looking forward to this opportunity," said Donlin. "We have an aggressive scope of work ahead for the Recognition Council including membership growth, expanding corporate outreach initiatives, developing more visibility for members and strategic planning."

Donlin became an active member of the IMA in 2005 and has attended the organization's Motivation Show for over 25 years. Prior to joining Newton Manufacturing, a promotional products distributor, in 2009, Donlin was senior vice president-sales and marketing with Eighth Floor Promotions.

The IMA is dedicated to helping its members prosper in the incentive field. The Recognition Council. a strategic industry group within IMA, was formed to provide an awareness of how recognition and rewards, in their many forms, are part of an effective strategy for achieving better business performance.
