Newton Mfg. & Ted Davies form Strategic Alliance
Newton, Iowa-based Newton Manufacturing announced it has formed an alliance with industry veteran Ted A. “Bump” Davies, Jr., as part of their strategic growth initiative. Davies will be providing innovative resources and creative campaign development to Newton’s distributor representatives, while maintaining his agency, Paradigm Partners, and other resellers he works with.
“Ted will be an excellent resource for Newton representatives looking for opportunities to grow their business outside of the traditional promotional advertising space,” said Jay Donlin, Newton’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We are very excited about this partnership.”
Davies started Paradigm Partners in 1998 as a promotional marketing agency providing turnkey services including research, creative development, fulfillment and program management and over his 31-year career has team and individual client billings of over $101 million. In 2007, Davies started The Promotion Coach, using his experience to assist over 350 salespeople with his unique program that focuses on customized business plans, prospecting skills, “big idea” selling, marketing tools and joint call selling.
Davies will be delivering his expertise and resources with Newton representatives through a unique joint marketing approach, and will conduct ongoing webinars, brainstorming sessions, weekly sales tips, joint calls and more. According to Donlin, Newton partnered with Davies to help their sales representatives win new promotion and program business that they may not be capturing otherwise.
