Pelican Products Promotes Two Sales Executives
Pelican Products, Torrance, Calif., has promoted Matt Miller to director of sales for the commercial division and Scott Jones to director of sales for national accounts.

Miller has more than 10 years of sales and management experience, as well as a wealth of industrial/safety industry knowledge. Prior to joining Pelican Products full-time, Miller was a factory sales representative, growing his business an average of 21 percent for eight years straight. As a sales manager for the past three years, he has increased Pelican Products’ business by an average 30 percent, and was named Sales Manager of the Year in 2003. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management science from the University of South Florida at Tampa. Currently, he is studying to become a technical search specialist for an urban search and rescue team in Alabama.
Jones’ nearly 30 years of sales and management experience includes serving as vice president at Dive N’ Surf, where he was responsible for the operations and expansion of multiple retail outlets, SCUBA education and the Body Glove brand. Prior to his promotion, Jones was national sales manager for Pelican Products’ commercial division and was named 2005 Salesman of the Year. He has an associate of arts degree from El Camino College, Torrance, Calif., and is a graduate of the N.A.S.D.S. Instructor College.
