These Are the Most Popular Apparel Brands of 2017
With the year winding down, we can take a look back at all the brands and trends that made their mark on 2017. Millennial pink aside, logo T-shirts, vintage sweatshirts and embroidered jeans were the most-coveted trends of 2017. Also, apparently, "woke fashion" saw an increase in searches by 105 percent, according to Refinery29.

The folks at Refinery29 also took a look which brands dominated search traffic over the past year. Coming in at No. 1 was Gucci, in part (we're assuming) because its logo T-shirt was a fashion must-have. Forever 21 claimed the No. 2 spot, perhaps thanks to its collaborations with Justin Bieber and Taco Bell.
Athletic apparel favorite Nike took the No. 7 spot, which comes as no surprise, seeing as its one of the more steady athletic apparel retailers.
So, what does this mean for the promo world? Well, for one thing, logo T-shirts are a new fashion staple, which is great news for suppliers and distributors. Additionally, Nike's continued success is an indicator that even though athleisure might seem like a struggling sector, it's actually holding strong and thriving.
