PPAChicago Announces 2012-2014 Board of Directors

The Promotional Professionals Association of Chicago (PPAChicago) has announced the winners of the election for the 2012-2014 board of directors. The elected board members are:

• President: Lisa Shayne, Hit Promotional Products
• Vice President: Peter Wiggins, Exceptional Specialty Promotions Inc.
• Director: Jennifer Savor, LinJen Promotions
• Director: Scott Wood, Scott Wood & Associates

All of the winners will serve from August 2012 through December 2014.

Lisa Shayne has been in the promotional products industry for 15 years. Her experience includes working on both the distributor and supplier side. Shayne has been on the PPAChicago board since 2008 serving as New Products Idea Show chairperson and most recently as vice president.

Peter Wiggins has 15 years of industry experience as a distributor. Wiggins has most recently served as a director and 2012 co-chairperson for the New Products Idea Show. He will be the dhairperson for the New Product Ideas Show for 2013.

Jennifer Savor returns to the board after serving for the past two years. She has been Awards, Newsletter and Public Relations Committee chairperson. In addition, she has served on the New Products Idea Show committee for the past three years.

Scott Wood has 20-plus years as a supplier in the promotional products industry. Wood has volunteered on the Membership and Events/Program committees.

Founded in 1957, PPAChicago is a trade association, comprised of distributors and suppliers of promotional products, with the purpose of promoting the general welfare among distributor and supplier members, and to provide educational opportunities and organized social events.
