PROMOTIONS EAST 2009 Highlight: Contests and Incentives Energize Distributor Attendees
PROMOTIONS EAST 2009, held June 1-3, 2009 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, N.J., boasted strong attendance and has received positive feedback from both exhibitors and attendees. With the goal of creating new energy and excitement at this year's show, SAAGNY and Promo Marketing introduced incentives and contests to both engage attendees and benefit sponsoring exhibitors.
The "Golden Ticket Giveaway" was held during the first day of exhibits, June 2, and created widespread excitement. Distributor salespeople were mailed a Golden Ticket chocolate bar, from Freeport, New York-based Chocolate Inn, prior to attending the show. Attendees were instructed to bring their Golden Ticket to the show for a chance to win $2,500. Suzie Fenlator of MSI Inc. took home the grand prize.
The "Walk It To Win It" Contest, sponsored by Jetline, Mount Vernon, New York, gave attendees the chance to walk the show floor with a pedometer. Once 1,000 steps were completed they could turn in their contest entry forms to the Jetline booth. Alan Bernstein of Accent on Promotions took home Wednesday's grand prize of $2,000.

Additional giveaways were organized by SAAGNY, including Dunkin Donuts gift cards and travel mugs for the first 250 distributors, $100 to five chosen winners for wearing SAAGNY PROMOTIONS EAST stickers and a pair of Yankee tickets for two winners, courtesy of WB Mason.
