Raining Rose Inc. Purchases Wisconsin Pharmacal Company Inc. Promotional Products Division
Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Raining Rose Inc. announced it purchased the promotional products division of Wisconsin Pharmacal Company Inc. Raining Rose will take over the promotional products portion of Wisconsin Pharmacal Company’s business and work directly with the distributors on all future orders. Wisconsin Pharmacal Company will continue to focus on its successful and growing contract manufacturing and consumer products divisions.
“We have worked with Wisconsin Pharmacal for several years and have tremendous respect for their products and they way they do business,” said Chuck Hammond, president and CEO of Raining Rose Inc. “As we have learned about one another we realized it makes sense for each company to focus on the markets in which they excel. We will work together over the next few weeks to make this transaction as smooth and seamless as possible,” Hammond continued. “We continue to expand our promotional products division so this move made a great deal of sense for us. We are well equipped to handle this business and excited to take on the additional customers.”
“Due to ongoing growth in other areas of our business, selling our promotional products division to Raining Rose was a very natural move for us,” said Mike Kermendy, vice president of marketing for Wisconsin Pharmacal Company. “Without question, this is a good fit. Raining Rose shares our company’s total commitment to customer service and they offer a very complementary breadth of product. We’re very confident this will be a seamless and beneficial transition for all of our valued promotional products customers.”
