Ready 4 Kits Announces New Investment, Enters into Strategic Alliance with Tender Corp.
Ready 4 Kits, Keene, N.H., a leading supplier of first aid kits to the advertising specialty industry, today announced that it has secured a major investment from consumer products company Tender Corp., of Littleton, N.H.
As per the agreement, the two companies have also entered into a multi-year alliance that will see them work cooperatively to support each other's businesses in various ways in their respective channels.
Founded in 1996, Ready 4 Kits custom designs logoed and imprinted first aid kits for promotional use across a number of categories and themes, including automotive, golf, disaster/survival, eco-friendly, health and wellness, outdoor and trade show/travel.
"Partnering with Tender gives us a competitive advantage in our industry, by allowing us to leverage additional buying power and gain access to the many products that Tender manufactures," said Tom Migneault, CEO of Ready 4 Kits.
He continued, "We will also be able to draw on Tender's considerable human and technological resources, which will help improve our customers' experience by streamlining and accelerating production times. Long-term, I foresee Ready 4 Kits in a stronger position to provide competitive pricing, faster information delivery and greater access to USA-made fill items."
For Tender Corp., investing in Ready 4 Kits is consistent with the company's long-term strategy of pursuing new markets and opportunities that complement its existing business units. Tender Corp., which manufacturers AfterBite - The Itch Eraser, Adventure Medical Kits first aid kits, SOL survival gear, and a variety of other products designed for active lifestyles, distributes it wares primarily in the food, drug, mass, outdoor specialty and sporting goods retail channels.
"For a decade and half, Ready 4 Kits has distinguished itself in the industry by providing distributors with highly attentive customer service and always delivering products that are of the highest quality, on budget and designed to customer specifications," said Jason Cartwright, CEO of Tender Corp.
"We're extremely proud to be working with such a great New Hampshire company and look forward to supporting Tom and his team to help Ready 4 Kits reach its maximum growth potential," he added.
Ready 4 Kits' management team -- including CEO Migneault and general manager Paul Dubois -- and all of its employees will continue to operate independently out of the company's Keene, New Hampshire-based headquarters.
"This is an incredibly exciting time to be working at Ready 4 Kits," said Migneault. "The success we've built to date is based entirely on the strong relationships we have established over the years with our customers. With Tender's backing we'll be able to enhance those relationships through greater offerings and manufacturing capabilities."
