Red Bull Is Letting Fans Help With Its F1 Car Design

Red Bull has become one of the biggest names in auto racing, having captured this year's Constructor's Championship under two-time world champion driver Max Verstappen.
It's a good time to be a fan of Red Bull Racing, and the team is letting fans have a big part in the design of the car next year with a contest to design the branded car decorations (called liveries in F1), which Red Bull will use in each of the U.S. stops next season.
Submissions are open now, with the first race taking place in May in Miami.
Red Bull does not mess around with its branding. If an event is sponsored by Red Bull, you pretty much know right away. Sponsored athletes are always wearing Red Bull hats (or helmets), which always reflect the famous blue and silver can design.
A cool touch from Red Bull that fans will get the chance to design three bespoke liveries this year, for the US races in Miami, Austin and Las Vegas #F1 https://t.co/kIHYJDpmrc

So, to allow fans to decide on the branding of the car is a big deal, especially since Red Bull's drivers will no doubt attract the most eyes.
According to the Mirror, Red Bull has done one-off design changes in the past for good causes, auctioning off special edition racing suits or spaces for fans faces to appear on a car.
Love that Red Bull are letting fans design their liveries for all 3 US races this year. One of my favourite fan-friendly ways to engage with everyone and anyone interested in F1.

If you think about it, an F1 car is really just like any other vehicle wrap job. It's just that, you know, they go a lot faster than a Honda Civic. But, with F1 growing in the U.S. thanks to things like Netflix's "Drive to Survive" series, it makes the cars an even more viable sponsorship option.
