R.S. Owens’ President Siegel Presents at 2008 New York Incentives, Rewards and Recognition Show
Chicago-based R.S. Owens announced company president Scott Siegel, MAS, was invited to serve on a panel at the 2008 New York Incentives, Rewards and Recognition Show. Siegel will present his thoughts on the power of recognition, and how recognition award programs can have strong, measurable benefits to any organization.
“I have worked in the awards industry most of my life,” said Siegel, “and I have always had an appreciation for the power of recognition, how it can motivate, reward and drive excellent behavior.”
“We have been honored to make the Gallup Great Workplace Award for a couple years now,” continued Siegel, “and this award recognizes companies for their extraordinary ability to create engaged and productive workplace cultures.”
Siegel also said research by Gallup showed an increase in recognition and praise leads to lower turnover, more engaged employees, higher customer loyalty, and satisfaction and higher overall productivity.
“I was honored that the New York Incentives, Rewards and Recognition Show asked me to be part of their panel discussion. I have personal passion for our industry and for the power of recognition, and I appreciate any opportunity to share my thoughts about recognition awards with others,” concluded Siegel
