S&S Activewear Debuts LiveChat Online Customer Service
S&S Activewear, Bolingbrook, Ill., recently announced the addition of a new customer service feature on its websites. The service is powered by LiveChat software and is operated by customer service employees at S&S Activewear; Santa Fe Springs, California-based Americana Sportswear; and Robbinsville, New Jersey-based Eva Sportswear.
A customer visiting the website has the option to enable LiveChat with one click at the bottom of each page. Once the “Questions?” button is clicked, the customer is then engaged with a live employee who can answer questions about sizes, colors, inventory and more. After the chat is completed, customers are given the option to rate the service immediately.
“We found that customers ordering on our websites often have a simple question, and need an answer fast to meet tight deadlines,” said Margaret Crow, director of marketing, S&S Activewear. “After researching options, we decided that the best way to get quick answers to them was to add this chat feature to our sites. It’s way faster than email or a telephone call and it makes the online experience more personal. Some customers prefer to call, but for those who don’t, it’s a good alternative.”
