Scalable Brands Makes Promo Industry Acquisitions, Including PMGOA

Venture capital firm Scalable Brands, which focuses on the promotional products and print-on-demand industries, announced that it has acquired Promotional Manufacturing Group of America (PMGOA), which is rebranding as Promoful. It has also acquired SameDayPOD, which includes Swagify.com.

The brands will move forward as Promoful and SameDayPOD, and will be led by Ben Taylor as president of Promoful and Louis Massaro as president of SameDayPOD.

Massaro joined PMGOA in April 2020. Before that, he was the national sales manager for Resellers Edge/Megafast, and spent 17 years as managing partner at Cooler Graphics.

“Cooler Graphics was where I started my career, and SameDayPOD is where I will end it," Massaro said. "Our low minimums and print on demand programs are the future, and I’m super excited to lead this company."

Before joining Scalable Brands, Taylor served as head of growth for cybersecurity tech company Vigilant Cybersecurity, and is the former chief marketing officer for promo industry supplier BamBams.
