Seastone Dresses Up Restaurant Gift Cards

Seastone currently is helping restaurants and other retailers develop their 2008 gift-card promotional programs. Depending on the type of restaurant, Seastone’s gift-card packages are offered free with the purchase of a gift-card, or in some cases they may sell for $.99 to $2.99.

“During the 2006 holiday season, restaurant gift-cards totaled $3.4 billion and accounted for 27 percent of total holiday gift-card sales,” said Phil Rist, retail analyst at BIGresearch. “We expect this trend to continue, with restaurants maintaining a large share of the growing gift-card industry.”
