Small-businesses to Use Promotional Marketing to Meet Business Goals

Eighty-seven percent of small-business leaders are optimistic about 2015, and have goals of increasing revenue (76 percent), driving profits (70 percent) and gaining more customers (70 percent), according to a recent Staples' survey.
To accomplish those goals, 46 percent said they will use promotional marketing, but 46 percent want to eliminate spending for ineffective marketing and promotional campaigns. Other ways to accomplish their goals include being more organized (38 percent) and upgrading software technology (35 percent).
