Starline Announces Jon Norris as Vice President of Operations

Starline, Grand Island, N.Y., announced the promotion of Jon Norris to vice president of operations. In this new position, he will be working closely with the production department and client services team.

Norris has worked at Starline for 11 years, during which he has served in the roles of industrial engineer and most recently systems operation manager. He is actively involved in the promotional products industry. For the past five years he has served on the Promotional Products Association International Technology Committee, and for the next two years he will lead the committee as the chair.

He is also actively involved in many industry initiatives, such as the PPAI Technology Summit, as well as developing industry communication best practices between suppliers and distributors. In 2014 Norris was named as a PPB Rising Star, an annual recognition program that seeks out and spotlights the industry’s budding leaders for achievement within their companies, industry and community involvement, strong initiative, and leadership potential.

Norris holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a master’s in business administration, both from the University of Buffalo.
