Study Participants Wear One T-shirt for a Week
There's a lot of demand for apparel that won't stain or retain moisture during workouts. And, a lot of the time, consumers can't be sure whether or not they can trust a company's advertisement. To verify one specific company's claims, Business Insider conducted a study where participants wore the same Ably T-shirt every day for a week. That included going to the gym, going to parties and basically living a normal life where stains and sweating happen.
While participants noticed that drinks, like water and beer, didn't stain the T-shirt, they noticed that sweat stuck around. It didn't necessarily absorb into the shirt, but it didn't drip away like they might have wanted it to.
Other substances, like makeup, did leave a trace on the apparel.
