Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), the promotional products industry’s only independent, non-governmental accreditation organization, recently announced that SwervePoint, recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-led Businesses in the U.S., has joined the Distributor Advocacy Council (DAC).
QCA, founded in 2008, created the Distributor Advocacy Council in 2012 to recognize the fact that compliance solutions are best done as a collaborative effort between suppliers and distributors. QCA, in partnership with the DAC, is raising the bar for solutions to provide supply chain transparency and answer the increasing amount of questions from Fortune 1000 companies about product safety and quality.
The DAC was formed by a core group of promotional products industry leaders focused on furthering the industry standard, which ensures promotional products suppliers are ascribing to a proactive, comprehensive compliance solution.
The addition of SwervePoint is part of a comprehensive restructuring of the DAC membership with a new level of commitment by both suppliers and distributors to mutually raise the bar and is the only way to effectively ensure supply chain transparency and control.
SwervePoint, an organization already recognized three times as one of the Best Places to Work in Boston, is a strategic addition to the Distributor Advocacy Council. The company is recognized as always innovating their approach to client services, merchandising and design.
Said Juli Sinnett, principal at SwervePoint, “We’re excited to join the DAC and be an integral part of making products safer for our customers and end users. It’s rewarding to know that our collective efforts are having a positive impact on the promotional products industry. We are glad to be a part of helping ensure safe, high-quality, socially compliant and environmentally conscientious merchandise.”
Jeffrey P. Jacobs, executive director of Quality Certification Alliance, added, “To have SwervePoint as part of our Distributor Advisory Council is another step forward for the promotional products industry as a whole. It’s a win for brands who have an expectation of safety and compliance in the products and processes by which they are produced. Safety, compliance and social responsibility aren’t new, but they are the new normal. SwervePoint walks that walk every day in our industry.”
