Wives of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) troopers sold T-shirts, wristbands and car decals to benefit families affected by the PSP Blooming Grove Ambush that occurred in September, as reported by The Wayne Independent.
The group sold the merchandise during a benefit breakfast held at the Waymart Fire Hall in Wayne, Pa. on Sunday, Oct. 5.
The T-shirts depict the Pennsylvania State Police logo on the front, and “PSP Strong” on the back.
The sale at the Waymart Fire Hall was one of five sales going on in the area. The group sold T-shirts for $15, decals for $5 and wristbands for $3.
A spokesperson for the group said that the goal is to raise money for the families of Trooper Douglass and Trooper Dickson—the two victims of the ambush. Their goal is also to raise public awareness and show their support.
