TAGWEAR Promotional Products "Tailors" a New Brand
Approaching 15 years in business, Tampa-based promotional products company TAGWEAR has renovated their existing brand and "tagged" their new position with "Tailored Promotional Products."
"From our humble beginnings in 1998 to the present, TAGWEAR has always been more about understanding our clients' branding and marketing needs rather than pushing promotional products," said Tom Gordin, CEO of TAGWEAR. "Our renovated brand is bold and really singles out our value-added proposition to our clients and prospects. And as always, by offering over 850,000 certified promotional items at affordable pricing, we remain a strong partner to hundreds of national and international clients."
TAGWEAR hired a third-party research firm in Tampa to conduct both industry and portrait research that clearly delivered results, showing a gap in market coverage, competitors and their own branding and positioning.
"We have been producing high quality, tailored promotional products for clients ranging from Rooms to Go to The Golf Channel, and we were neglecting the golden rule of paying attention to our own marketing and promotional needs. We were extremely happy that we decided to research everything first in order to rationalize our new brand and position. This way we know we are right on the money for future sales and forecasting growth," Gordin said.
Unlike large portal websites and small "mom and pop" promotional product companies, TAGWEAR's Value Added Business Consulting engages the client in direct communication to truly understand your brand, your company's position in the market space and the message the promotional items need to deliver to the target audiences.
TAGWEAR launched their new brand, position and website earlier this month and have already received positive feedback from their existing clients and prospects. TAGWEAR's marketing firm of record is Tampa-based HCP, a 30-year veteran of research, strategy and marketing solutions.
Eric Polins, Senior Strategist/Partner at HCP said, "We were impressed with TAGWEAR after our initial meeting; it's rare to see a veteran promotional products company engage us for industry research, branding, positioning and social media. We are excited to announce the TAGWEAR rebrand and their new strategic plans for 2013; they will no doubt be successful."
