The 2015 Proforma Convention Showcased Tools, Technology and Ideas

Proforma, Cleveland, concluded its 28th annual Convention and Family Reunion in Orlando, Fla. at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. More than 800 Proforma member owners, sales representatives, supplier partners and support team members came from offices worldwide to network, strengthen relationships, improve business practices and celebrate a record breaking sales year.

“Convention is always an exciting time for the entire Proforma family to come together to learn, share and grow together, but this year was especially powerful,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “Proforma’s convention has the industry’s largest private vendor showcase, more than 90 education sessions and the most million-dollar producers under one roof. This year, we unveiled new cutting edge technology advancements, marketing resources and business development tools to make it easier than ever for owners and sales reps to be more successful. There is no other event in our industry like it.”

Highlights of this year’s convention included a keynote presentation by featured guest speaker, Keith Ferrazzi. Ferrazzi is the author of the New York Times Best Sellers "Who’s Got Your Back" and "Never Eat Alone." Attendees also heard presentations from special guests Dave Fellman, president of David Fellman & Associates, Cary, N.C.; and Glenn Gaudet, president and founder of GaggleAMP, Medford, Mass.

“The theme of this year’s convention was relationships, and it was clear throughout the event how important our clients, associates, family, friends and fellow Proforma family members are to our lives and business,” said George Klare, Million Dollar Club member and co-owner of Proforma Design Management, Alvarado, Texas. “Between the motivating keynote presentations, valuable vendor showcase and the insightful breakout sessions, it was clear that Proforma has the right people and relationships in place to help us all succeed.”

Owners and sales reps in attendance also witnessed the debut of the new and improved Proforma.com website. Proforma partnered with USAWeb to revamp Proforma.com. Additionally, Vera Muzzillo and Proforma’s technology team unveiled a new $10 million order entry and CRM platform. Owners demoed the improved platform, which includes a more efficient and simplified ordering process with features such as an inventory module, CRM functionality and more to come in the following year.

During the annual awards dinner and celebration, Proforma welcomed 14 new members into the Million Dollar Club, two new members into the Multi-Million Dollar Club and three new members into the 5 Million Dollar Club. Fred and Suzette Albrecht, Proforma’s first 25 Million Dollar Club members were inducted into Proforma’s Hall of Fame, recognizing them for helping to shape the organization and provide mentorship and knowledge to their fellow Proforma owners. Proforma also presented 104 Centurion awards to owners who increased their sales by more than $100,000 in the 2014 calendar year, and recognized the business achievements of more than 52 additional owners.

The 2016 Proforma Convention and Family Reunion will be held July 24 to 27 in Las Vegas, at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
