Promo Marketing: What led to your company’s success in 2015?
Marc Simon: We continue to make strides in organic growth by providing the tools and capital to help our high-performing account executives grow their business. We added several new members to the sales team who were attracted by these tools and our sourcing, and also consummated two acquisitions in the second half of the year.
PM: Besides sales numbers, what makes your company a Top Distributor?
MS: Undoubtedly, our culture. We work very hard to maintain a caring and results-oriented culture as we continue to grow. We have great people in the organization. We treat them well, and respect each person’s contributions. And, we feel we bring a great deal of integrity to our dealings with suppliers, account executives and clients.
PM: How did you grow your company into what it is today?
MS: We have a singular focus—the HALO account executive is our customer. And, we have a simple and effective formula for growth—we attract high-performing industry account executives, then provide them with the best support and business-growth tools in the industry so they never want to leave HALO. Our retention rates for both account executives and their clients lead the industry. And, every employee is tasked with looking for ways to improve what we do, and they embrace that challenge and are rewarded for it.
