Editor’s Picks: Beach Tote Attack
I recently saw the most terrifying thing when watching TV—not the latest episode of XYZ reality show, not a preview for Discovery Channel’s Shark Week (wait, let’s be honest, Shark Week is awesome) … no, it was a “Back to School” commercial. It must be the post-traumatic stress caused by the alleged “best years of my life” because I’m not even a student! At first, I was shocked. But I quickly looked at the calendar app on my iPhone and discovered it was mid-July. So, that’s actually late for advertisers.
Then, I did some more thinking and realized I haven’t been to the beach once all summer (and it’s only 45 minutes away from where I live). I think that’s much more tragic than seeing an advertisement for schoolbags and clothing. While I only have 1-1/2 months left to bask in the sun, I’m extra determined to make it happen. I’ve got the bathing suit (finally!), I’ve got the beach towel … I just need a new tote. How else would I transport my towel, suntan lotion and copy of “50 Shades of Grey”? Just kidding—I’m so sick of hearing about that book. Everyone knows the best beach read is “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
Check out these tote bags so you’re not stuck carrying your beach essentials without any assistance.
