The Vernon Company Promotes Vicki Palm to Director of Marketing

The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa, has announced that Vicki Palm has been promoted to the position of director of marketing, effective immediately.

After joining the company as communication manager in 1997, Palm most recently held the position of supplier relations manager.

In this new role, Palm will assume management responsibilities for The Vernon Company's marketing staff and will continue to oversee supplier relations. The marketing team is responsible for creating programs and services for The Vernon Company's account executives to help market their businesses to both clients and prospective customers.

"Vicki has done a great job for us in her various roles at Vernon, and we’ve often relied upon her industry knowledge and experience to help us achieve our marketing goals," said Dave Regan, vice president of sales and marketing for The Vernon Company. "We believe that in this more strategic role, Palm will continue to benefit the organization and our account executives with her skills and enthusiasm.”

Palm, a native of Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in journalism/mass communication. She lives in the Newton area with her husband and two daughters.
