Tri-Mountain Launches New Racewear Line
Irwindale, California-based supplier Tri-Mountain debuted its 2010 line via the company's new online digital catalog. After years of expanding into eco-friendly products, safety and uniform apparel, and other markets, Tri-Mountain has turned its attention to racewear. The new line is Tri-Mountain Racewear (TMR).
Tri-Mountain’s vice president of marketing, Glenn Oyoung commented, “When I looked around the promotional products and decorated apparel space, I saw a lot of shirts put in that ‘racing’ category and I thought our team here at Tri-Mountain could earn that business, especially by utilizing some of the feedback from real-world racers and gearheads.” Oyoung continued, “Many people might think it odd to launch a racing-related line in this economy, but I happen to believe that true gearheads love their babies—whether they are cars, bikes, planes or boats—and no economic environment is going to detract from that passion. This line is for them.”
The TMR line was designed with input from award-winning car builders, designers and grass roots racers. It features a mix of classic retro styles as well as modern creations to appeal to the wide spectrum of racers and industry professionals. Danny Tsai, Tri-Mountain’s vice president of merchandising said, “The 2010 line is an exciting start, and from here we’ll continue to add more styles to further set us apart from the pack.”
