For the fifth year in a row, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, South Plainfied, New Jersey-based Tumi will partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure in support of breast cancer research and is offering “pink” products to support the cause. This initiative is in keeping with the company’s history of social responsibility and philanthropic efforts.
Twenty percent of the retail price will be donated to Susan G Komen for the Cure. Available for purchase in Tumi stores nationwide, and on www.tumi.com in the month of October, are a selection of stylish and feminine accessories. Playing off the signature color pink, a paisley print will adorn classic Tumi styles. This material will be applied to a wristlet, cosmetic case and will be lining the interior of the Villa train case and bucket hobo, both in an ecru color. Prices range from $75 to $450.
In addition, the Mobile Power Pack was produced in a pink paisley pouch as an exclusive for Bloomingdale’s.
Since 1982, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer–transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors. The organization has made strides with contributions in early detection, more research and more survivors. Today, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cure. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, more than $1.2 billion has been invested to fulfill the promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
