Uber Gives Out Free Gift Bags Worth $500 to Customers
On July 10, the car-share company Uber treated riders in New York City and Connecticut to a bag full of summer-themed items, as well as a chance to win a hotel stay in New York as part of its "Make Your Getaway" promotion, according to a press release.
When ordering a car, riders could enter the promo code BEACHBAG to unlock the "Beach Bags option," and the free bag would be in the car when the user got picked up.
