Visstun Expands Product Line, Increases Production Capacity
With the installation of a fifth cup-forming machine, the company has added three new sizes to its product line and has boosted production to more than 200 million cups per year.
Las Vegas-based Visstun has expanded its plastic and paper cup offerings and increased its production capacity with the addition of a fifth Paper Machinery Corp. (PMC) 1250P cup-forming machine. This installation comes after a fourth machine went live just 18 months ago.
In addition to producing the 12 oz., 17 oz., 20 oz., 32 oz. and 44 oz. cup sizes along with a 16 oz. container, the latest machine also fabricates the new distributor-requested 9 oz. and 16 oz. cup sizes, as well as an 8 oz. container. The 12 oz. and 16 oz. sizes use a common lid, giving distributors even more choices for their clients' promotions.
