WorkflowOne’s Charlotte Facility Earns ISO Certifications
WorkflowOne, a leading provider of print, promotional products and supply chain services based in Dayton, Ohio, today announced that its Charlotte, N.C., plant has become the company’s second manufacturing facility to earn certifications from International Standards Organization (ISO) and International Automotive Task Force (IATF)—with both the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality management process certifications. The certifications are based on independent audits conducted in 2007 that resulted in very high scores for the Charlotte facility.
Workflow’s Charlotte plant produces a wide range of printed products, including short-run digital to long-run jumbo rolls, a full complement of pressure-sensitive labels, continuous and cut-sheet forms as well as offset sheet-fed printing. Labels produced in Charlotte are widely used in automotive subassemblies, such as airbag systems. The facility employs 120 people and has 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space.

WorkflowOne’s Charlotte team, along with corporate engineering support, has been developing its quality management process to meet the high standards of ISO and IATF throughout the 2007 calendar year. The company’s Goshen, Ind., facility was the first WorkflowOne plant to earn both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 certifications in January 2007.
