The Kansas City Royals' confidence after the 2014 postseason inspired Lee's Summit, Missouri-based graphic designer Gina Seibel to wear her heart on her sleeve.
"Me and my husband kept saying,'They have swagger!' And he's like, 'You should put that on a T-shirt!'" she said with a laugh. She agreed, but with a minimum requirement to get shirts printed, she reached out to friends to see if anyone else wanted one.
The response was big and out of that, KC Swagger was born.

Uniqlo, the apparel chain owned by Fast Retailing Co. of Japan, recently introduced a new service that lets consumers develop their own T-shirts. Called UT Me, it enables them to use a smartphone or tablet computer touchscreen and a new Uniqlo app to create unique graphics and text, which are printed onto a T-shirt in their size.
