In honor of Earth Day, Cincinnati-based Cintas Corporation announced that it helped eliminate more than 15 million plastic bottles from the waste stream and save 8.5 million trees by reusing plastic waste within its eco-apparel product line.

Superior Uniform Group Inc. today announced that for the first quarter ended March 31, earnings were $327,000 or $0.05 per share compared with $599,000 or $0.10 per share reported for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the 13th consecutive year, customers of Cintas Corporation received Image of the Year (IOY) awards during a banquet held by the North American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) in Las Vegas. Embassy Suites, Harrah's Cherokee and The New York Palace were presented with the prestigious award based on the fashion, function and creativity of their apparel programs.
"Cintas has a rich and strong history of creating and delivering innovative and inspiring fashion focused apparel designs," said Richard J. Lerman, president and CEO of the NAUMD.
Cintas Corporation has reported results for its third quarter ended February 29, 2012. Revenue for the third quarter was $1.01 billion, representing a 7.9 percent increase compared to last year's third quarter.

Cintas Corporation reported results for its second quarter ended November 30, 2011. Revenue was a record $1.019 billion, representing an 8.8 percent increase compared to last year's second quarter. Organic growth, which adjusts for the impact of acquisitions, was 7.0 percent.
Cintas Corporation in Union, N.J. recently became the first company in Union and the first Cintas facility located in federal OSHA jurisdiction to receive Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification. The ceremony, plaque and flag presentation was held on Friday, November 4th at the facility located at 546 Green Lane in Union.
SHARP is OSHA's official recognition of employers that have eliminated OSHA hazards, established effective safety and health management programs and have maintained injury rates below national averages. Acceptance into the program begins at the company's request and took Cintas more than a year to complete.
