McDonald's Hits The Spot (Forbes)

Unlike fast-food competitors that have sacrificed profits to boost traffic with price cuts, McDonald's always-low Dollar Menu helped the company swing better same-store sales for the month of February.

On Monday, the Oak Brook, Illinois-based restaurant operator said that sales at restaurants open at least one year jumped 4.8% in February, its best monthly same-store sales gain since May of 2009.
