There is one thing I’ll promise you—never in this blog will I quote a certain amphibian—shaped puppet on the difficulties of going through life having skin of a certain hue. Firstly, because it is an over-used quote, and secondly because it isn’t true.

Bag Makers Inc. Introduces Eco-Friendly Bag Line

Bag Makers Inc., of Union, Ill., announced the launch of a collection of eco-friendly bags. Addressing the growing trend toward more environmentally conscious products, the collection includes a paper shopper made from 100 percent recycled paper and consists of not less than 95 percent recycled post consumer content. The collection also includes a plastic die-cut handle bag that contains up to 40 percent recycled content and 20 percent calcium filler, which can reduce the use of petroleum-based resins by as much as 60 percent. In addition, Bag Makers has been working to make its entire collection of non-woven polypropylene bags even more environmentally friendly.

The Partnering Group Increases Membership

At its annual sales seminar this year, The Partnering Group, Tunica, Miss., added Clay Hughey of Footprint Marketing, Addison, Texas, to its list of distributor members. The addition brings the total number of distributor members to 12, with close to 100 salespeople and sales volume of more than $45 million.
