Adventures in Advertising Hosts "Elements for Success" Event

Neenah, Wisconsin-based Adventures in Advertising announced its 14th sales convention was held July 22 to 24 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Under the event’s “Elements For Success” theme, the two-and-a-half day program featured education workshops, a supplier trade show, business updates, systems training, a fashion show, an awards dinner and entertainment.

Journalbooks recently celebrated their Forest Stewardship Counsel (FSC) certification and commitment to be an eco-friendly company by honoring its employees with a steak luncheon. Plant Manager Tim Klima and production supervisors grilled steaks and served the entire staff. A Caring Industry

As people have probably seen from both this week’s and last’s newsletter, there is no end to the compassion shown by the suppliers and distributors of this industry. With the two tragedies, the earthquake in China and the continuing flooding in the Midwest, came news of devastation that needs no elaboration. What also came was a true outpouring of support. Journalbooks, Norwood, PPAI amd Hub Pen are just a few of the companies and organizations providing support and relief efforts.
