Millennium Leather Announces New Charitable Pin Program

Teaneck, New Jersey-based Millennium Leather LLC announced the introduction of the industry’s first leather awareness pin in its 2008 holiday catalog. The company will donate five percent of all pin proceeds to various non profit organizations in the U.S. and Canada for research, awareness and support. The ribbon shaped leather lapel pin is available in four colors—pink, red, yellow and purple. Millennium Leather has selected 20 non-profit organizations whose fundraising efforts are represented by one of the colors, to receive donations. The list includes Susan G. Komen For The Cure, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, amFAR, USO, Autism Society of America Foundation

Millennium Leather Hires First National Sales Director

Millennium Leather, LLC, maker of The Andrew Philips Collection, announced the hiring of David Fiderer as the Teaneck, New Jersey-based company’s first national sales director. Fiderer has worked in the industry since 1986, with experience on both the distributor and supplier sides of the business. Most recently, he held the national sales director position with supplier company New Products International, based in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y. “It is our hope and expectation that David will help our company get to the next level. Having worked on both sides of the business, he brings us a valuable perspective in selling and marketing our line,” said
