Seattle-based SanMar Corporation, a supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, hired Shelley Pasicznyk as the new general merchandise manager. Pasicznyk comes to SanMar with more than 16 years of experience in the apparel industry and was most recently the senior merchandising manager at Nike Golf. “I’m looking forward to contributing to SanMar’s product development,” said Pasicznyk. “I’m very impressed with SanMar’s focus on the customer. SanMar, Seattle, recently announced a partnership with OGIO International, Bluffdale, Utah. SanMar is debuting 14 OGIO bag styles in its 2008 Apparel and Accessories catalog, which is currently available. “We’re proud to join with OGIO because it fits beautifully with our family of premium brands,” said Jeremy Lott, vice president. “OGIO sets trends, makes savvy color choices and delivers unfailing quality. SanMar, Seattle, is premiering its complete 2008 Apparel and Accessories Catalog in time for the fall selling season. The new 436-page catalog is SanMar’s largest catalog to date. It features more than 800 products from its proprietary brands, including Port Authority, Sport-Tek, CornerStone, District Threads and Precious Cargo, as well as Nike Golf and the PING Apparel Collection, of which SanMar holds the exclusive distribution. Three new brands—Red House, the Tiger Woods Collection and OGIO—will debut in the catalog. Red House is a luxurious collection that reflects the wine country lifestyle. OGIO International, Bluffdale, Utah, recently announced the reorganization of its promotional products division. Nick Wright has been named director of the division, and will oversee the day-to-day duties of the newly appointed territory sales mangers, Brandon Bell and Casey Newell, as well as the marketing/logistic manager, Jared Allred. Bell will be responsible for the western territory and Newell will be responsible for the eastern territory.
