PPAI and PPDRF Business Recovery Fund Ready to Help Promotional Products Industry Impacted by Hurricane Sandy

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the world’s largest and oldest international not-for-profit promotional products association, in conjunction with the Regional Association Council (RAC), is offering disaster relief in the form of the Promotional Products Disaster Recovery Foundation Business Recovery Fund to assist promotional products industry members and non-members seriously affected by the impact of Hurricane Sandy.

PPAI urges affected industry members to contact PPAI at pr@ppai.org or (888) I-AM-PPAI (426-7724) for assistance with specific needs to restart their business, to update their contact information, with questions, or to report a business outage. The PPDRF Business Recovery Fund has information and resources on its website about how to prepare for a disaster.

Though many businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy were able to reopen today, there are some that still remain closed. Below is yesterday's list of closed businesses, amended to note which have opened and which have remained closed as of 3:15 p.m. EST today. Messages from the closed companies have been posted when available.

A New RAC Delegate to the PPAI board was also announced: Tom Carpenter, MAS, national sales manager, Scarborough Specialties Inc., Lubbock, Texas. The new board members and RAC Board delegate will begin their terms immediately following The PPAI Expo 2013.
