Adventures in Advertising Hosts "Elements for Success" Event

Neenah, Wisconsin-based Adventures in Advertising announced its 14th sales convention was held July 22 to 24 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Under the event’s “Elements For Success” theme, the two-and-a-half day program featured education workshops, a supplier trade show, business updates, systems training, a fashion show, an awards dinner and entertainment.

Retraction: In “Recognize the Potential of Badges, Buttons and Lanyards” in the April 2006 issue, a quote by Karen Slabotsky of Martini Promotions—“By far, our most popular item is our silkscreened lanyard. A higher-end, top-selling item is our four-color process, Digi-dye lanyard, which features superior printing technology”—was mistakenly attributed to Kimberly Damp of Universal Strap, which does not silkscreen any of its lanyards. Also, Universal Strap’s woven buttons are not available in only eight colors, but can be woven with up to eight colors.
