Some people may have seen me strolling around the recent PPAI and ASI shows. I was the one with the video camera convincing unsuspecting marketing managers and sales reps to show off their companies latest products on film. Las Vegas-based Visstun announced the addition of paper hot cups to the existing plastic, cold beverage cup line. The new 12 oz., four-color process paper hot cups give distributors a way to provide colorful, economical promotions. The paper hot/cold cups are still available with Visstun’s low 250-piece minimum order. “Once we received the response that we did with our plastic cup line and saw there was a need in the industry for four-color process paper hot cups as well, we knew that Visstun needed to fill that void,” said President Ed Hamilton. Currently, the line consists of a 12-oz. cup and a white, cappuccino-style lid with other sizes becoming available in the future. Visstun feels the product is appropriate for business meetings and provides a more economical alternative to our plastic cups for those promotions that do not require the cup to be reusable.
