The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Fairfax, Va., announced that Towel Specialties, Baltimore, won Gold, Silver and Bronze Golden Image Awards for Excellence in screenprinting on textiles.

Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA), West River, Md., was thrilled to participate in the 5th annual Warm Holiday Wishes Coat Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Charity in Baltimore. On Monday, December 19, CPPA representatives dropped off almost 100 coats, hats and gloves at the Fox 45 News station in Baltimore. Each year Fox 45 News hosts the drive to support St. Vincent de Paul's efforts to provide warm clothes for the homeless. Fox 45 News interviewed CPPA board member Megan Erber, who spearheaded the drive, about the donation.

Towel Specialties, Baltimore announced it recently hired multiline representative Matt Carter of Flanagan & Associates, Palm Harbor, Fla., to represent the line in Georgia. Carter comes to the company with 14 years of experience as the co-owner of Carter
Promotions and an additional 18 months as a multiline rep.

Wayland, Massachusetts-based iPROMOTEu announced 14 promotional products distributors affiliated with iPROMOTEu in November 2009. These new affiliates, in the aggregate, have an estimated annual sales volume of more than $8,000,000. Presently, more than 470 distributors from 43 states and territories in the U.S. are affiliated with iPROMOTEu.
