The Salvation Army is replacing handwritten paper index cards with high-tech barcode technology to ensure that more than 4,000 families in Haiti efficiently receive food, shelter and medical supplies. The United Parcel Service (UPS) donated the technology and adapted it for disaster relief supply distribution.

World Emblem International, Miami, announced it donated products and services to Project Medishare, a Miami-based grassroots organization sending medical personnel and supplies to help with the Hatian relief effort. World Emblem has been printing T-shirts with the “Save Haiti Saturday” and “Project Medishare” logos since Tuesday.
