ETS Express Inc. recently announced the appointment of Daniel Jordan as its new vice president of marketing. Mr. Jordan brings more than 25 years of technology and marketing experience along with over 15 years direct industry-related experience to his new role at the Oxnard, California-based company.

Jordan previously served as president and creative director for CamberDay consulting, a technology and design firm specializing in emerging media, digital print and web-based technology solutions for the promotional products industry. More recently, Jordan was director of marketing and digital communications for Los Angeles-based Americhip. Jordan is being brought in to extend ETS's digital marketing and traditional marketing capabilities.

ETS Express Inc. is focusing on "express" this holiday season by adding a follow-up to its highly successful 24-hour rush program called e24. The new offering is known as e48 and provides 48-hour rush service at no additional charge. Orders involving a one-color imprint placed through this new program by 6 p.m. EST (3 p.m. PST) will ship two days after the order is placed.

Brent Stone, QCA executive director–operations, noted since the Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), Chicago, opened for membership in July, he has had conversations with promotional product industry suppliers that recognize the competitive advantage that comes with successful completion of independent, third-party audits but are unsure how to begin the process.

Custom HBC Corporation, Waconia, Minn., recently purchased the assets and equipment of Oxnard, California-based Dovetail Ventures, a health and beauty care supplier. In addition, the company was ranked #262 on Entrepreneur’s HOT 500 list, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing entrepreneurial businesses in the United States, which was published in the magazine’s August issue. Custom HBC was chosen from more than 19 million businesses reviewed for the ranking.
