Issaquah, Washington-based SanMar Corporation, a leading supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, recently welcomed more than 500 guests to an open house to debut its new warehouse. The event showcased the 585,000 square-foot Dallas-area distribution center that the company relocated to earlier this year.

The Selco Companies, based in Tulsa, Okla., announced the introduction of its True North Compass Collection. The collection contains a variety of wooden, boxed desk compasses that have proven popular for a variety of promotional programs. Mentioned programs include corporate training, mergers and acquisitions, travel incentives, and new product launches. The compasses come with imprinting and engraving options.

Red House, St. Helena, Calif., outfitted Hall Wines associates at the recent groundbreaking for the Hall Winery in Napa Valley, Calif. The new building—a 10,000-sq.-ft. glass, stone, plaster and wood facility crowned with undulating trellising—is scheduled to open in 2010. The winery employees wore Red House Honeycomb Performance Pique Polos. Decorated with the Hall Wines logo, the sport shirts were made from an easy care cotton blend with moisture-wicking properties. SanMar, Seattle, is premiering its complete 2008 Apparel and Accessories Catalog in time for the fall selling season. The new 436-page catalog is SanMar’s largest catalog to date. It features more than 800 products from its proprietary brands, including Port Authority, Sport-Tek, CornerStone, District Threads and Precious Cargo, as well as Nike Golf and the PING Apparel Collection, of which SanMar holds the exclusive distribution.
