Contrary to a previous news release, Alan Goldfarb’s SHOWTIME company, Greenland, N.H., will assist the Gold Coast Promotional Products Association (GCPPA) with an event scheduled to take place on Oct. 10, in Ft. Laurderdale, Fla. The news release erroneously stated that SHOWTIME will manage the event. Goldfarb will bring to Ft. Laurderdale dozens of suppliers who are participating in SHOWTIME’s final 2007 week of traveling shows. However, management of the event is the sole responsibility of GCPPA. The newly organized SHOWTIME, Greenland, N.H., has been given the support of the Advertising Product Suppliers (APS), Mansfield, Texas, according to Alan Goldfarb, SHOWTIME founder. The decision to support SHOWTIME was made by several APS leaders in a recent meeting to review the potential benefits for its membership. APS is the industry’s only trade group whose membership is limited exclusively to suppliers. Florida’s Gold Coast Promotional Products Association (GCPPA) is the first to take advantage of SHOWTIME’s services, with an event scheduled for Oct. 10.
